Project Manager - The role will include: Developing & maintaining effective control & reporting measures. Tracking & monitoring the progress of individual initiatives. Identifying strategy priorities & the overall critical path. The role will focus on ensuring that the team has a clear understanding of progress being made. Strong communication, influencing & negotiation skills will be vital. Responsible for effective reporting of project milestones, the successful candidate being able to demonstrate previous experience in compilation of lean, accurate & timely reporting. The successful candidate will get heavily involved establishing KPI’s - this will include determining appropriate KPI’s, developing templates for KPI production & templates for display in the visual management centre. You will need to be able to build strong working relationships based on trust & integrity. You will demonstrate experience of resolving conflicts across functional divides. ESSENTIAL: Experienced business professional, currently operating at senior specialist * managerial level. Graduate calibre, hold a relevant professional qualification. Passionate about their profession & career, displaying superior knowledge & competence in their area of expertise. Strong problem solving & analytical drive for results, able to overcome challenges to meet goals, possess the ability to honour commitments & exercise sound business judgement. Communication skills: Fluent in English. Demonstrate some basic understanding of accounting rules (eg POC revenue recognition) & cost drivers DESIRABLE: Knowledge of the rail industry & market. Business language skills in one additional language. An understanding of the Services operations, particularly fleet maintenance. Understanding of current reporting systems - ASPI, GFORE, MAXIMO, VCM. Duration: 12 - 18 months Rate: £Negotiable
